ArchivedWhat the bible says about homosexuality....You took verse 5 out of context. This is also a favorite tactic of gay theology and Christian's who try to use the Bible for un-Godly purposes. Notice verses 3 and 4, which applies to what mankind can use for food. Now compare this with the dietary laws, which were given to the "Son's of Israel" or the Jews. God's laws for the Son's of Israel are more restrictive. He calls His people to a higher standard for His purpose. Since you seem to think we should take Genesis as literal in this day and age, the U.S. whose citizens are primarily Christian have every right and obligation to discipline (see verse 6) Muslim terrorists who bomb and kill in the name of Allah and can be used to justify the war in Iraq. Thousand's of Christian's have been murdered in Muslim nations that are governed by Muslim law, so I suppose based on verse 6 we should invade and reek retribution on Muslim's who murder members of our faith? However: Those who choose to ignore God's laws will be judged and disciplined by God, not us. "To whom much is given much is required". How much oil wealth of the Muslim nations goes to help the poor and needy in the Muslim world? On the other hand Christian's are helping to build homes, supply food, medicine, dig water wells, etc. for people in need regardless of their religion or ethnicity. The people of Irag live in squallor and poverty while Saddam and his cohorts lived in luxury. If this is what being a Muslim means then I wonder about Islam. Sodom was destroyed because: Could this be the reason Saddam was removed? He murdered his own citizens and lived in ease and luxury. God will not be mocked by Muslim, Jew, Christian, or any religious belief. |
