But sometimes a lie is ok as I can see it.
Take my child for instance she stole a little ring one day and of course I marched her right back in made her talk to the manager and the policeman in there about what she is.
She has never stolen again.
Now when she asks me mommy have you ever stolen?
Darn right i'm going to tell her NO..even though I have and quite a bit when I was a teen.
But she thinks I am the world and anything I do MUST be ok.
Therefor yes I lie to her and say no baby I havent ever stolen anything.
She dosnt try to steal anymore but I have no doubt in my head she would try if she knew I had done it.
So no I dont think all little white lies are bad just alot are.
What would happen if you told her the truth and then told her there are consequences for wrong actions? You may be her world now but will you be her world when she learns you lied to her when she was a child? A little lie may work when she is young but little lies turn into lack of credibility and trust when we grow up.
