ArchivedHow is this for a salvation message? What happens if some1 is in a poor country and hears the gospel some how, repents and accepts Jesus, but they're in no position to be baptized? In Acts 2:38, Peter was telling the people that because they had the oppurtunity. If I had a chance to choose between a 50 inch TV or a small one (both at the same price), I would choose the 50 inch TV. The same goes with baptism. Why would you not be baptized if you have the oppurtunity to? If you want to immitate your Lord, you will do it. But some might not be in the position to. Also, if you read Mark 16:16 carefully, you would see that Jesus says, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Jesus never said, "And he that believeth not and not be baptized shall be damned." Believing and following Jesus is the most important thing. |
