ArchivedIslam and violenceI don't think you have fully thought about that question to be honest. Why does God need a prophet to reveal himself either? 1) God can't sin or be in the presences of sin! 2) The prophet who God revealed himself to in the Old Testament had to be "white as snow concerning sin". Which means God had to 100% totally forgive the person of their sins first. 3) But If God came in the flesh (per say) and offered the perfect sacrifice then what would happen? We all can be "white as snow concerning sin" and be a part of his Spirit also if we accept his perfect sacrifice! When I wrote Don't we respond to you differently after that. A part of who you are becomes a part of who we are. Our choices in life can change based upon how we honor what you say to us, especially if we consider your words as Holy, Divine, and from God. Many religions are based upon this concept. But something is still missing here and that is for you to become a real part of us. By you sending your son as a perfect sacrifice for our sins which we accept by just believing in Jesus, we then can become a part of who you are. Which is why when we are born again we call you Father and then you call us your children because we have become a part of who you are by the (Spirit) that you sent upon us. Same as a son is part of his father or a father is part of his son, or your own spirit is a part of you Naaji. 3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 8. |3588| The |4151| Spirit |3699| where |2309| he desires |4154| breathes |2532| and |3588| the |5456| voice |0846| of him |0191| you hear, |0235| but |3756| not |1492| you know |4159| from where |2064| he comes, |2532| and |4226| where |5217| he goes. |3779| So |2076| is |3956| everyone |1080| having received birth |1537| from |3588| the |4151| Spirit. |
