You're right here, but where on this forum does any Christian ramp someone's sin down their throat? What am I doing different than Paul or Peter preaching about sin? Am I telling a guest who comes on this site that they are filthy sinners and they don't deserve Christ? Am I saying they will go to hell? As Born Again people, we have the right to judge all things in the light of scripture. That's exactly what I'm doing. So you can't accuse ANY Christian on this site for "harping on
individual sin."
1 Corinthians 2:15- But he who is spiritual
judges all things, yet he himself is
judged by no one.
As born again Christians you do NOT have the right to judge! Show me in the Bible where you get the idea you have the right to judge. You have the right to judge, according to 1 Corinthians 5:9f those in the church, you do not have the right to judge those outside the church, again according to 1 Corinthians 5:9f.
When you "harp" on the sinfulness of homosexuality you are craming a persons sin down their throat. Jesus said "I have come to call sinner not the righteous." How did He call sinners? It was not by picking out one sin and harping about it from one end of the country to another.
Again you have offered opinion without Biblical foundation. Quote some Scripture, in context, and I just might change my mind. So far you have refused to back up your "opinons" with the Bible.
1 Cor 2:10-16
10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, 13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man. 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. NAS
You pulled your "proof" out of context. You are to judge you own actions in response to the Spirit, not the actions of others, especially those outside the Body of Christ.
