God, like all righteous judges must apply the Law. In this case His own Law. If that makes Him a tyrant in your eyes so be it.
You have fallen into the same mindset adopted by legalists and those blinded by there own pride. The Law concerning killing homosexuals, adulterers, those who violate the Sabbath, and etc. were applicable only to the sons of Israel when Israel was a theocracy. Their right to enforce those Laws ended in 586 BC with the Babylonian captivity. The next time God's Law will be enforceable and applicable to the whole world is when Jesus returns to set up the Kingdom of God on earth. This is a future event.
As to what I posted about how non-Christians live their lives:
1st Corinthians 5:9-13
I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner -- not even to eat with such a person.
12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person."
