Trinity DebateTrinity DebatePlease, don't come to me with accusation of paganism, out of context, corrupted "echad" and other horseradish, then say your argument was soley derived from Bible. I've been around the block a couple times. Should I tear out the rest of Acts chapters from Bible, or all the pages of the Bible expect for Acts 2 and 5? Listen, I not going to get into with you on echad, because I am not an linguist nor Bible scholar, and unless informed otherwise, neither are you. There is good information available on the internet for JCF readers to make an informed decision; I even suggest readers visit the Judaism sites. Unfortunately, however, since many (Rabbis and site authors) can't make the case echad is an absolute numerical sense precluding oneness, they resort to fallacy of ridicule for greater part of argument. Despite what you would have readers believe, Trinity does not rest soley on any one argument, whereas your interpretations of Bible verses are governed by a single word.: That is, near impossible for you have an in-depth perspective of what is being said. Which is why you and like fellows are near (if not) blasphemous with verse interpretation of Zechariah 11. Also, there seems be peculiar way you read the Bible; e.i. verses are isolated, as if context from elsewhere in Bible is meaningless Something else that is odd, an existent notion the authority of the Gospel should play second fiddle to Old Testament. Any person who makes rules that look to prevent the whole Bible from being used in its own defense, loves his own truth not God's. Very wise: Many of your TDF question and answers were embarrassing (if not repugnant) to read. My faith in Lord Jesus true God does not come from nor rest with any negations. However, under what rule is evidence inadmissible just because it came from negative witness. I reject your negative witness of the Messiah and His identity, Bible interpretations, yet accept evidence of Bible trustworthiness. So quit the all-or-nothing fallacy game. But get this is straight, the Pharisees did not; "accuse Jesus of being God" ( check your wording), they were emphatically denying he was God, to which you agree. If you can reason the external and internal evidence, fine; if you can't, then how much breath can be used. God is indeed One. Amen. In what sense of the term are you binitarianism, and are you not tiring from; no you can't , yes I can. did too, did not. I know you're big on setting parameters, but here are your words. "The facts are that Justin Martyr was the first man to opine that Jesus is God." I assumed the Bible and any of the early Church fathers in post-apostolic age, because nowhere was first Christian apologist (as if that amounts to hill of beans) mentioned. Rather than look for fault, excuse yourself and clarify. I really must be going. servant of the One and Only, Lord Jesus Christ joseph |
