Trinity DebateA few simple questions about the concept of the TrinityThat's the point. God cannot be overcome by death thus conquers death, so Jesus kicked ass in Hades and freed the people there. Satan didn't have this hold over him. Why He waited three days to ressurect I don't get. Why does God do things the hard way? He did it this way for a reason. WHy would God let His prophets and holy ones enter a Hades rather than join Him? Because they still had sin on their soul that was not forgiven. Jesus is the Key and unlocked these people at the appropriate time Jesus was two natures, the human nature and divine nature, Jesus was fully human and fully divine as God. How can a being have two natures like this? Jesus is special. If Jesus was there at creation and was the creative agent in Creation with the Father, then no way He is a human originally. Adam is the first man. He is higher than the angels, so is not one of those. As far as Jesus being a human, It's like how I say to an atheist friend of mine, God comes down to earth and experiences first hand what it's like to be a human, because of this human nature that coexists in Him. A lesson from the Bible is that God knows what it's like to suffer and experience temptation. We can resist and be like God in that sense, thus we can be one in the Body of Christ. God is not disunited. The Son is obediant to the Father. The Son completes the Father. Jesus emptied Himself of His preexistent Godly Glory, BTW. |
