Baka in the Bible: My response
I want to start by saying that H2O is wrong in claiming that Mecca is talked of in the bible. Theres is no place called Mecca anywhere in the Old Testament and to asume that it is is presumptuous. Lets examine what is being said in Psalm 84.
Psalm 84
> 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
> 6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
> 7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
You can clearly see that the word Mecca is not in these verses, nor is anything similar to a Kaaba. In these verses all that is implied is that on passing through the valley of Baca, they make it a well. What does the making of a well and the passing through the land have to do with Mecca and the Kaaba.
Also you cannot claim Mecca was foretold of by using Psalms as your source. The only place you can find the story of Abraham sacrificing Isaac is in the Book of Genesis which is the first book of the Torah. The first five books of the Torah are known as the eternal testament of Yahweh.
Here is proof positive that God has never considered Mecca as the Holy Land.
Book of Zechariah
2:11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
2:12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
It is foretold that God will always choose Jerusalem as his Holy City.
Here is the proof that God's house of prayer has nothing to do with Mecca or the Kaaba also.
Book of Isaiah
56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
