> Neither does the God of the Bible does not mention Mecca or Medina but instead Jerusalem 800 times. ~ http://www.letusreason.org/Islam6.htm
This is false. You dont know how to read Hebrew so let me give you some Hebrew lessons.
First let us start here. How many names is Mecca known by ?
It is called by Two names which are Makka (Mecca) and Bakka (Becca): Bakkah (Becca) is the former name of Makkah (Mecca). Please Note the proper spelling of these names are M.a.k.k.a (not mecca) and B.a.k.k.a (not becca):
> The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka; full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: (Koran 3:96)
> And it is He(Allah) Who has restrained their( the unbelievers) hands from you(Muhammad) and your hands from them in the midst of Mecca, after that He gave you the victory over them. And Allah sees well all that ye do. (Koran 48:24)
I have found the name Bakka the former name of Makka mentioned in the Bible :
> Psalm 84
> 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
> 6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
> 7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
" The Valley of Baca " Baca, Correctly spelled from the Hebrew as "Baka" or " The Valley of Baka " http://www.studylight.org/isb/view.cgi?number=01056
Now according to your commenters The Valley of Baka is located in Palestine, but Psalms 84 gives specific ID on the geographical location.
> Psalm 84
> 1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
> 2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
> 3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
> 4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
> 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
> 6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
> 7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
> 8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
> 9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
> 10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
> 11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
> 12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
BAKA
1) This Place is a Valley
2) In this Valley there is a blessed Well
3) To this Valley pilgrims make their journey
4) There is a Sacred House of Worship in this Valley of Baka
5) This Place of worship where the sacred house is at there are COURT YARDS
6) There are alters
7) Sparows and Swallows Lodge at this location and bare their young
There is no place in Palestine that fits this discription.
"ZION" ? You think you got me on this one dont you ? Well the word ZION in hebrew means "a desert or parched place" http://www.studylight.org/isb/view.cgi?number=01056 . Your commenters contradict them selves cause if the ZION mentioned here is in Jerusalem then what about Baka which is suppose to be in Palestine when the BAKA and ZION are mention together as one location. Psalms 84:7 "They go from strength to strength, every one of them appeareth in the desert (ZION) before God" .
There is ONLY one place on earth that fits the discription given in Psalms 84:
1) This Place is a Valley: Makka is in a Valley http://www33.brinkster.com/islamicards/z1.html
http://www.islamic-awareness.org/History/kaaba.html
2) In this Valley there is a blessed Well: In Makkah there are many springs and a Well called the ZAMZAM Well

3) To this Valley pilgrims make their journey: Muslims are the only people that make pilgrimage(Hajj) to such a geographical location, http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/hajj/

5) This Place of worship where the sacred house is at there are COURT YARDS: The Sacred House in Makka has court yards , http://pictures.care2.com/view/2/192636397

This is a continuation of the former email I sent to you in which I didnt finish.
Going back now to "The Valley of Baka" as mentioned in Psalms 84 .
>
> Who passing through the valley of Baka make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. (Psalms 84:6)
> The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka; full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: (Koran 3:96)
So is Baka in the Bible and Bakka in the Quran two different words ? No they are not. They are the same words derived from the same root word "bakah" meaning "to weep or to wail" http://www.studylight.org/lex/heb/view.cgi?number=01058
For Arabic confirmation go to any Arabic to english Dictionary here is an online reference http://alqamoos.sakhr.com/idrisidic_1.a ... =%c8%df%ec
Now, in order for you to prove me wrong you have to submit EVIDENCE that Psalms 84 is NOT referring to the Bakka which is now called Makka (Mecca) in Saudi Arabia. Your site is called "LET US REASON" so we are dealing with reason and logic here not BLIND FAITH. In order to prove that Psalms 84 is referring to another location you must provide the information of HOW that location matches the Bible description like what we have done.
