Kai responds: Who everybody and what theory? Could you please expound on this and provide me with the names, because this claim really surprises me. And what do you mean by theory…do explain with some more details Izzat writes:
Kai responds: Rubbish man, read the Bible Izzat writes: Kai responds: Christianity is not a political or war religion, and secondly we don’t believe in polygamy and divorce. IF you read Matthew 5 and Ephesus 5 marriage is devotion for life. Izzat writes:
Kai responds: Not There?????? Again go read the Bible bro Divorce is referred to in Matthew 5, and 1 Corinth 7, we now how to deal with these matters. And secondly, your whole thing about war, do you really think it has helped Islam morally to possess rules of war, war is war, and in Islam you are commanded to kill or persecute those who think differently, and permitted to enslave them, rape them. Surely these rules help the Muslims to deal with the issues, or what? Izzat writes:
Kai responds In how many none-Muslim wars have armies not fought with a brave spirit and refrained from retreat? It’s good to be brave, but we are not dealing with being brave here, many Christians daily need to be brave simply to remain Christians. Izzat writes:
Kai replies: Again what do you mean practical, every religion is practical? Izzat writes: Kai responds: So what, most religions still exist, Christianity as well, it is still growing with a large speed. Did you know that Islamic statistics estimates that 6 million muslims become Christians annually or so. I have met converts to Christianity wherever I travel, and in the UK, some statistics state that we have baptised 4000 muslims just recently. In another muslim country (and I will not provide information here for security reasons, we simply don’t have the same privileges as you Muslims), one Christian denomination has recently baptised 600.000 Muslims, in another country I have heard of 50.000, in Indonesia we talk of millions, etc. That Islam is growing, well, many Muslim leaders abhor the situation that mosks are empty and that large number of Muslims end up in crime and drugs. The prisons in UK are packed with Muslims, in Denmark most crimes are committed by Muslims. So if you call this Islam, then or either Islam is very evil, or it is declining, becoming like the rest of Europe. Izzat writes: Kai replies: It’s a fact that Christians after Constantine used contextualization to clarify their faith and practice, but there was no compromise of religion. As to the Trinity you will read about it topic, in the New Testament, which historically can be proven to be written and compiled within the first 60 years of Christianity, and later within the writings of church fathers, such as Justin Martyr and Tertullian, from 1 century to 3 century documents. As to Sunday becoming the holy day, may I suggest that you read Justin Martyr who writes with in the early second century and explains that Christians worshipped on this day, since Jesus rose on Sunday morning; read also Pliny the Younger and Roman official who is anti-Christian but who through investigation, with the second century verifies the same matter. Izzat writes:
Kai replies: Is that a fact:
I see nothing noble in invasion, mass-killing and persecution or I see nothing noble in keeping slaves for sexual purpose Or
I see nothing noble in taking captives, selling them as slaves or raping them Or I see nothing noble in having sex with nine year old girls Or
Is see nothing noble in incorrect scientific information, such as the idea that the sun orbits the earth Izzat writes: Kai replies: Or had not choise but to leave it, you do know that individuals who leave Islam are killed? Izzat writes: Kai replies I don’t consider the crusades as Christian, it goes against New Testament teaching, I do however understand their historical reason, as Europeans had to fight back the Muslim invaders, as Europeans saw it as their right to conquer back Christian territory, e.g. North Africa and Palestine and Spain, which had been invaded by Muslim armies. But are you telling me that Muslims did not misuse and abuse those whom they invaded or captived. In fact as I have revealed several times, this was the case even when Muhammad lead the battles We have clear cases when Muhammad allowed his men to rape all the women of captivity, the only fear being that they might get pregnant and loose their value on the slave market:
What do you call this abuse or common curtesy? Don’t you think these had a desire to leave Islam? Do you think they had a choice? Izzat writes:
Kai replies: What do you mean more privileges than their actual percente? Izzat writes: , Kai replies: Ever read of persecution against Christians in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, etc…Do I really need to bring the sources? Izzat writes:
Kai replies: Please provide me with the passage, and its context Izzat writes:
Kai replies: Well is it only my imagination, or a special case, am I simply taught to hate, or is it something I have experienced and even researched: See what the Koran says: As a Muslim you are not even supposed to be in unity with a Christian and Jew (Sura 5: 51). Or how about Ibn Hazm vol.8, p.39, who states that the Muslim cannot be punished for the murder of a Christian since the blood of a Muslim has greater value. Or why is there death sentence for Christians to build churches or house for religious purposes in Muslim countries (Ibn Hazm, vol.4, part 7, p.28) (Ibn Timiyya vol.28, p.652). Why do Christian have no rights in the court (Bukhari, part 3, p.237), are these the so called rule which guide you muslims have to deal with people. Or why are Muslims not permitted to hire Christian workers (Ibn Tmiyya, vol.28, p.646) Or have you ever read the three laws humiliation which Muhammad implemented against the Christians in Arabia (Tabari, X, 109ff; Ibn Kathir II, p.346ff). Izzat wrote: whereas for example everybody knows what happend in Spain when christians took control and how they killed or forced muslims to become christian. Kai replies: In the same way as Muhammad and his followers forced the masses into Christianity. And not to forget, Spain was a Christian country, which the Muslims forcible invaded, thus what would expect? Certainly the Spains wanted to rule their own lands, practice their own faith and live out their own culture; can you blame them for taking their country back? Sounds like typical Islamic biased? If a Muslim commits atrocities then the world is simply to listen and dialogue and get to terms with the Muslim demands, if a muslim gets killed, then the all hell breaks loose. Izzat replies:
Kai replies: Have you ever considered the situation of these Christians? Has it ever occurred to you that they might simply persevere; The New Testament does not encourage terror or invasion but it certainly prepared the Christians to persevere in times of persecution; read Matthew 10 on that issue. Or how about the masses that have been killed: Well??????? Izzat replies: Kai replies: Could you please show me where in the Bible Christians are encourage to take African slaves and bring them back to Europe, or could you show me where in the New Testament Christians are encourage to take any slaves at all? Do I really need to repeat all the verses from the Koran and the Hadith which permit slavery of non-Muslims? Izzat writes: Kai replies: Which white people? If you talk about the British Colonizers, then they were the ones who prohibited slavery in Sudan, which now is thriving again, thanks to Islam. Izzat writes: Kai Replies: Are we now talking about Western Politic or Christianity? Izzat writes: Kai replies: You mean I have already debunked you. Let me get this straight: you say: the New Testament is evil because it does not encourage or demand sexual misconduct, yet Islam is good, despite the fact that both the Koran and the Hadith encourage and permit, slavery, concubines (sex slaves), rape, prostitution in forms of temporary marriages and pedofila, in which 50 years old men can marry and have sex with 9 year old girls. I simply don’t get the logic! However, since you have never read the New Testament as it seem like, let me educate you my friend. The New Testament is all about lifestyle and it strongly demands a conduct and ethics which is much higher and moral than the one in Islam. First of all because Christians are not commanded or encouraged to wage war, invade, kill, take captives, use concubines, rape slaves or female captives, marry temporarily for sexual intercourse, marry nine year old girls to old men. But also because the New Testament clearly describes Christianity and Christian life as holy and pure. In fact Jesus clearly describes what sin is, and where it comes from (Matthew 15) According to Matthew 28 the essentiality of Christianity is not just the belief in Jesus’ atonement but to learn and practice the commands of Jesus To become a Christian one has to repent and turn to… which means that you give up and turn from your previous way of living (Matthew 10: 11 (Acts 3) (Acts 26) A Christian one who has left the old way of living (1 Cor.6) In fact a Christian is only recognised as a Christian if he lives as a Christian (Matthew 25) (Romans, chapters 6-8) (Ephesus 5) (read the whole epistle of John the Apostle) Day of Judgement will reveal who the real Christians are (Matthew 7) Izzat writes:
Kai replies: Its Jesus Christ who insures our salvation (Isaiah 53), he is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1). Without him there is no way to salvation (John 14: 5), and only in his blood is there forgiveness of sin (Matthew 26) (Luke 24). Izzat writes: Kai answers: Becasus it in the death of Jesus we receive foregiveness and transformation (2 Corinth 5), this forgivness is what causes holiness in our lives, and thus holiness proves if the transformation has taken place. Does this make sense or what? Or shall we spend more time on this? I would be happy to. Izzat writes: Kai replies: I already answered, the dying for us, is a sacrifice, if you study the Old Testament teaching on the Mosaic sacrifices you will get some clearance on this. But the sacrifice idea does not legitimate us to live in sin. The sacrifice means that God sees the sacrifice and in it, his wrath upon us is atoned for, thus it saves us from hell fire. Yet the sacrifice also provides transformation, as the Spirit of God takes place in our life; again if you want to discuss that issue, I am happy to do that. Izzat writes: Kai replies: Does that mean that you would not debate against me using the English translation of the Koran, but then I need to know whether you understand the Koran in Arabic, and if you don’t, then how can you be sure whether what you base your faith in is true? Are you telling me then that you never read English translations of the Koran? Would you then be willing to apply the same on the Bible, the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, because I study New Testament Greek so I am willing to do that. Izzat writes:
Kai replies: Then all the stories which the Koran has borrowed from the Bible (about 67 percent of the Koran to citate Jamal Badawi) are in facts fairytales! Are you sure whether you are a Muslim? Izzat writes: Kai replies: What do you mean by Christian world and Bible world? There is no such world! Having lived in a Muslim country and travelled in several Muslim countries I find it amazing that you consider immorality to be a Western thing only. Pakistan is one of the worst homosexual nations in the world, a great majority of boys and girls engage in this practice (I have heard Pakistanis refer to 80-90 percent). Pedofila is famous in the Pakistani and Indian mosks. Prostitution is famous in Pakistan, Dubai and various Muslim countries and temporary marriages is practices in various places, even in Mecca. In Pakistan village leaders even condemn young girls to gang-raped even publically, talk about pornography. Not to forget that Muhammad permitted rape, sex-slaves, temporary marriage and sex with minors---Jesus never did that, neither did the apostles, Paul or any of the early Christians, neither does any true born again Christian, that would disprove his personal faith (read James 2).
