Christian/Muslim ThreadsOpen to Ideas from All FaithsFirst Jesus said He is God, which is why the Pharisees tried to stone Him (John 8:58, John 10:30). What you and all oneness advocates as well as Muslims choose to ignore is that while on this earth Jesus chose to empty Himself of His divine perogatives and powers (Philippians 2:7). From the beginning of Christianity there have been those who appealed to their leaders instead of God's truth (1 Corinthians 1:12, Romans 1:22) so it should not be suprising to anyone that denominational differences cause dissent and division among those who profess a faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus accepted the worship of men, which indicates He is God. When Christians give glory, praise, and honor to Jesus the Son we are giving glory, praise, and honor to God by His design and will. |
