Aieno, you inserted the promiscuity issue into this discussion for what reason? Straight people are promiscuous as well and commit adultery. It's completely irrelevant with regard to the secular right to enter into the legal institution of marriage.

I simply brought up the fact your statement is blatantly false. Legalizing gay unions is not going to change the promiscuity in the gay community any more than marriage reduces the promiscuity found among straights. Promiscuity is a choice that has nothing to do with marriage or marriage rights.
