Homosexual Discussion ForumWhy Wouldnt Christans Support Gay Marriage from a Moral.. The last poll I read in the advocate concerning promiscuity in the gay community was not conducted by the Advocate and was in fact an independent poll done by some other group. I call a couple of gay activists friend and even they are willing to admit that gay men are more promiscuous than straight men. In fact there are programs being set up within the gay community to address this very issue. So when you deny the obvious truth admitted to by even knowledgeable gay activists you don't put yourself in a good light. The Federal Courts system does not have the constitutional authority to make law. Also before you appeal to civil rights legislation and Federal court actions in support of civil rights you need to remember the courts were upholding the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. Marriage laws are not covered by Federal law and therefore any state law that limits marriage to heterosexual couples and/or denies the legality of gay unions is not subject to Federal Court review. Many Christians understand and acknowledge that divorce is a problem that needs to be addressed within the church and many churches are taking action to stem the tide of easy marriage and quick divorces. |
