Christian/Muslim ThreadsJesus and MuhammedYes, it's very true that the Gospel of John emphasizes Jesus' Divine Nature and mission from heaven to earth, then back to heaven, from which He will return to raise us up on the last day, as Jesus declared in John 6:40, "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." This post topic started out by comparing Jesus and Muhammad. From the Gospel of John standpoint, there is no comparison! Either Jesus said this and will do this, or He is a false prophet with a false Gospel. Islam cannot have it both ways, honoring Jesus as a prophet, but rejecting His message. Blessings |
