ArchivedPeace on earthDidn't Adam and Eve hide themselves because of the shame of their sin? Isn't sin what separated us from God? Wouldn't God have dwelt with them before the fall since they were in union with God previous to being separated by sin? The Bible doesn't expressly say he dwelt with them in the garden of Eden. I'm thinking he dwelt with them in spirit. Of course, when Jesus dwelt among men it was in the flesh. In the scripture you referenced from Revelation, it speaks of the new heaven and new earth and talks about the new Jersualem, coming down from God out of heaven. Would that be down to earth? And, it goes on to say, "the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them..." |
