Science, Creation & EvolutionNoahs Flood is it real, is it global?Since this is not a science message board where all discussions are limited to what is found in peer-reviewed scientific journals that are controlled by those who obstruct the free exchange of ideas your comment is more self-serving than educational. “ID” is a method of understanding and interpreting what science can demonstrate. What I find interesting in your post is that the faith or lack of faith of a scientist is an issue. Since we can and have shown that atheists have allowed their own agenda to color their science your statement also lacks credibility when you refuse to admit this to be true statement. “ID” is not a science and neither is atheism so to make an issue of “ID” and not atheism when discussing real science is hypocritical. As to getting back on the thread topic, why rehash what has been discussed here: Noah and the Deluge? This thread was left open for further discussion so starting a new thread dealing with the same subject is in my view counter-productive. What you seem to want to ignore is this is a fundamentalist Christian message board where fundamentalist Christians can express opinions based on what science can and cannot show to be hard scientific fact. Aburaees brought up a couple of good points for fundamentalist to take into consideration when discussing Noah’s flood. Our world is not going to disintegrate because we have faith in a book that is the basis for our faith and science is not going to be affected by what non-scientists choose to believe. The Hebrew word translated “earth” can also be translated “country”, and “land”. So tell me Evilutionist why do you think it is necessary to prove the Bible is both inaccurate and based on mythology? Does our Christian faith threaten your income or your career? |
