ArchivedAnother anti-christ ThreadNero was the 5th Roman Emperor, so Nero could not be the individual being portrayed in Revelation 17 since in 90 A.D. (the date of Revelation) the reigning Emperor was the 14th Roman Emperor Domitian. The seven kings are most likely seven kingdoms that ruled or will rule. At the time John wrote Revelation the kingdom that ruled was Rome. If you see the antichrist as Nero resurrected than Hebrews 9:27 is not true. The antichrist will come from the political system that was Rome and about the ony living human that meets this criteria is Juan Carlos, King of Spain. However, we won't know for sure who the antichrist is until he brokers a peaceful settlement that guarantees Israel's safety. |
