Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinesONE GOD-ONE NAMEI compared the oneness concept of manifestations to Gnostic concepts of Jesus being a emmination or manifestation of God. How can I post that Jesus is at the right hand of God, because the Bible states that is His position to the Father: Manifestations do not have positions in time and space where one intercedes with the other for those who believe. You state that the right hand indicates power well so does the phrase "in the name of". Jesus commanded that we be baptised in the "name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" or in the authority of the Trinity indicating all three Persons of the Godhead have a hand in our salvation. Jesus said no man can come to Him unless the Father calls him. Jesus taught that the Father has knowledge the Son lacks, which shows your manifestations are not the same person. Your concept of the Godhead is far from what is taught in Scripture. |
