Oh Helix, that is not real life...that is your youth culture and alcohol and a bunch of hormones going crazy.
Real life is marriage, raising kids, working to support them. Real life is standing by your dad as he is dying. Real life is learning to walk on crutches when you break your leg. Real life is a gutsy thing, not going out to a bar with a bunch of peers and trying to make it with a girl.
You have a LOT of growing up to do if you were under the impression that you were involved in 'real life' the other evening!
