Lol! You know about Sinterklaas! Haha, that's great! I meant Santa Claus, but Sinterklaas will do just fine. My point was that I am as much convinced of Sinterklaas as I am of god.
Remember that when we were children we all believed in Santa Claus, and that after a while you start to realise that it is impossible for the guy to deliver presents to ALL children on 1 night? The laws of physics just don't support the idea of a flying sled or flying reindeer, and he would have had less than a second to deliver a present...
Now I am sure we apply 'science' to explain a lot of the myth, and come up with calculations to show that if he were to accurately throw presents into chimneys he might just make it on time, but that doesn't make it true...
LOL!!: I did a google search and it seems someone already 'proved' Santa Claus. http://members.aol.com/jmageema/sclaus.html
I hope I'm not sounding too arrogant, but I think this IS what is happening with religion: The history of the world is rewritten and millions of years are all put in a mere 6000 years. I don't think anyone would have 'discovered' evidence for a global flood if the bible hadn't mentioned it.
People look at the bible FIRST, and thén they try to find 'evidence' to support their stories. And that has led on this forum to strange 'Santa-style' calculations about vulcanoes and fossils, or layers of Earth that 'must' have formed during a great flood...
