Sounds like you have your mind made up. Always, always be willing to reform. Always keep testing and always question yourself and your understanding of scripture. Too many times people today (not saying you) say they love God, but do not love the truth enough to go after it. God is truth. So it is good that you are seeking, but don't stop for any reason, always keep seeking.
I have never met someone who believed that salvation could be lost that also had a correct understanding of what the other side truely believes scripture teaches. They think they understand, but they don't. Most of this is due to scare tactics from Charismatics/Pentecostals who build straw men and then burn them down, which fools many people today.
Based on what I have read from your OSAS thread I would say that you do not have a correct understanding of both sides of the issue. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, this is just a simple fact. I'm not sure why, but it seems that you are using the meanness of some people (which happens sometimes) as an excuse not to test yourself honestly. One of the greatest benefits of these forums is that we can test beyond our own lies that we tell ourselves, and others will ask the tough questions that if we are not honest, we will not ask ourselves. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, we are very capable of deceiving ourselves. This is why the enemy tells us pleasant things, because so many people will want so badly to believe it that they will convince themselves in the face of clear scripture that says the opposite.
In your OSAS thread, I seen maybe two or three verses I would have used, and I could easily correct your misunderstanding of them with clear scripture.
The bottom line is this, those who love the truth will find it, and those who allow themselves to be deceived will be deceived, and nothing will change that. Since you hold scripture in such a high regard i'm hoping the best for you, but you must be willin to look at it honestly. Again, based on your OSAS thread, I don't think it would be going out on a limb to say you have not seen any list from my side of things, simply because you didn't list a lot of the scripture.
I'll give you credit, you are the first one that actually tried to answer the scripture from my side of things. I have been on forums now for a year, and never have I seen someone from the Arminian point of view try to do this, of course, you won't let me reply, but it's a start. The scripture you provided here and on the OSAS thread has been gone over a million times, you can find these dicussions anywhere.
If you believe that Hebrews 6:4-6 is speaking of salvation, then you also believe that once it is lost, it cannot be regained.
Also, if you don't earn your salvation until you have persevered till the end, what did you lose, certainly not your salvation. When does your salvation start?
Do you consider that it is not possible for one to revert back to the Levitical system today?
