" For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace" (Is. 9:6).
"The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken. . ." (Psalm 50:1)
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last, saith the Lord which is, which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Rev. 1:8)
". . .Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that livieth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen, and have the keys of hell and death." (Rev. 1:17b, 18)
"Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD(Yahweh, YHWH, Jehovah, The Father), the first, and with the last; I am he." (Is. 41:4)
"I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." (Is. 44:6b)
". . .and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me." (Is. 45:21b)
"but after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared." (Titus 3:4)
"Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior." (Titus 3:6)
The Father is first and the last, Jesus is first and the last. The Father is mighty God, Jesus is mighty God; the Father is Almighty, Jesus is Almighty; there is only One God, but the Father, Son, and Spirit are not the same, but all are called God. Therefore the Trinity is true biblical doctrine.
You, my friend, are the one in need of some serious study.

P.S. ("It doesn't make sense" is NOT a valid argument, because the bible clearly teaches that Father, Son and Holy Ghost are ONE God, but not the same.)
