ArchivedThe coming to all and to those who belive further :: Re: The coming to all and to those who belive furtherThe thing to keep in mind is that we, people, are not God's enemies. His enemies are the 'other side' of the spiritual realm, the archons, demons, etc. The book of Revelation is a direct conclusion to the creation, most of which is found in Genesis. There's even a clue to the mark of the beast in there. Another story. Anyway, to answer your question...God does not will that even one soul be lost. It is my personal opinion that, with eternity being so long , this current episode of humanity is just one chapter, and the chapters go on and on until all are back to their Creator. So if your name is not in the book of life by the time Revelation comes to fruition, I think only the parts of each soul which are evil (i.e. reject God) join the Dragon in the lake of fire, but the soul stuff, the part that holds the spark of the spirit of God (which is eternal, regardless) goes back into a 'raw material' heap, to be reassimilated next go around, for a new chance. The drawback is one doesn't retain their identity, they are absorbed into the whole, and the parts that are remade are from the whole, totally new. The book of life is open until judgment, the way I understand. Jesus Christ will write your name in the book if you accept him as the Way to the Kingdom of the Father. He is the only way, that is clearly stated. So if you choose to trust on His word as the Word of God, then you will be written down. Once you make that decision wholeheartedly, it won't be taken from you. A door will be opened to you that no one can shut. Except you, of course. But I will tell you this, if you sincerely accept Him, you will never want to shut that door, and it won't be a hard thing on your part to keep it open. It's so wonderful that you truthfully won't desire any other way. I'm speaking from experience. There is no false hope with God. I don't know for sure about those things, but if you are thinking of it now, don't wait! I don't think Angels die, because they are not of the flesh. Only flesh dies. The soul will live if it is joined with the spirit of God. Angels don't have free will, and so they have no soul. But they are made of spirit. Even the archons and all the rulers of this world and below are made of God's spirit, ultimately. That's why they can be tortured in the lake of fire. People cannot. Our bodies burn and our souls, without spirit, are recycled, so to speak. The Father which Jesus speaks of is much more than just a god, He is everything and every reason. He knows nothing but love and compassion. Once he forgives us, he will not remember our sins. It is our own selves which carry the grudge of past sins. Forgiveness is actually for ourselves, and so He forgives us to show us that we can love ourselves just as completely and unconditionally as He does. The only way to fall outside of His huge encompassing embrace of light and love is to decide not to believe in Him or Jesus, and to reject the truth of the Holy Spirit. And that is something a person must do wilfully. If you seek to know Him, you will get there. It may not be in the time frame you expect, but remember, eternity is forever, and He will not forget you. Just perservere and don't reject Him. |
