Muslim & Christian Discussion ForumHave you ever read the Bible for yourself? :: Re: Have you ever read the Bible for yourself?Peace KJM,[quote="K-J-M]Good question, and its one that my minds been grasping with back and forth for quite sometime. To start off with this, I do believe that the Quran and The Bible go together message wise, serve none but God, patiently persevere and through faith and actions you are made whole. I believe that the crucifixion as well as the ressurection do not contradict the Quran, however Jesus been placed on the right hand of God I will only take that as far as been symbolical, I've always had an interest in Jesus the Christ and an emotional attatchment to the crucifixion, Christ is a perfect example of Submission to God, when he teaches the disciples to pray 'not my will, but thy will' thats symbolically speaking crucifing your self (desires) and bowing down to God. A beter example is when Jesus is praying to God in the garden that this fate pass if God so wills, thus he loved God so much that he died for him. |
