Im going to have to disagree with both of you. Angels are not called saints in scripture. Angels are angelic, not former human beings. God created angels for his service, anywhere, any time. Saints in heaven have fullfilled their purpose here on earth. They now are in heaven praising, worshipping and loving God. Their role here on earth is done.
The word Saint simply means Holy, Angels are Holy, are they not?
Thus they can be called Saints. I explained this in my last post, read it.

We are spiritually alive in Christ and after our death we are also physically "dead in Christ" until our bodies are resurrected at His second coming. The "dead in Christ" cannot hear our prayers.
Show me in Scripture where the dead cannot hear us.

Elijah did not suffer physical death and the transfiguration is not a prayer meeting. It was a confirmation to the Apostles who were present that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
No Elijah didnt suffer physical death,
but Moses did! and was seen with Elijah.
