Anieo said:Let me give you an example. As an ex-gay man I deal with Christian's who are constantly angry with gay activists. If these people take communion while harboring this anger they are living in disobedience. "A new commandment I give you "love your neighbor as yourself". If a Christian "interprets" this to mean only their "neighbors in the faith" they are "interpreting" God's word based on a private agenda. Who is our neighbor? Study the parable of the good Samaritan. If any Christian still views gay activists as their enemy and not their neighbor then these Scriptures apply:
I know many gays that are wonderful human beings, They are not the enemy at all . if people hate, they are not christian, God has no room for hate in any ones heart. I know many Baptist, I also know many assured salvation followers we dont agree on doctrine, but I am not angry ,I feel sorry for them and their souls and I tell them that too.
The point is to LOVE ALL PEOPLE.
WHen you are truly sorry in your heart, God knows this as far as being angry and unrepentant.
When you partake of the Lords supper, you confess you are truly sorry for your sins and GO AND SIN NO MORE.. or try very hard not to offend Our Lord.
Sin makes us unrightous in the eyes of the Lord. ANd we know what happens to the unrightous according to the gospels.
BTW .... Gay people are some of the most loving, kind, gentle people in the world, Male and female. However I pray for them that they do not suffer and God does not punish them since homosexuality is not allowed in the Bible.
