Peace All
I may be wrong, but I think the other thing that is becoming very clear, is that what assures one Muslim of entry to paradise, is not anothers. Some have told me that it's faith firstly, and then works.. others stress works and faith. Some say all true Muslims will go to paradise, others say that some will go to hell first.
I have said previously, the problem for me with that sort of salvation, is that whilst I have no problems with faith producing works, to show someone is a true believer.. the idea that works will save you is a real problem if there is no agreement on what constitutes works that save.
Some say it is obedience to the Qur'an, others say it's the Qur'an and the Sunna.. ie what Allah says and what Muhammed did and said. Now, they may not contradict each other to a Muslim, but what of the extra things Muhammed did? Are they also required of the "good Muslim" to aquire Paradise without hell first?
I'm truly interested in all replies
God Bless
