ArchivedOld Testament prophecies on JesusWell, to you the correct translation is the one you want to support Islam. Why are you using english versions to verify a correct translation? Go back to the original Hebrew, the correct translation is "Mighty God." And even if you use other english translations and the verse says something like, "Wonderful in council is God the Mighty, the Everlasting Father, the Ruler of peace" this still does not mean that Jesus is not God in the flesh, because this is just one passage. When you incorporate it with the context of scripture, Jesus is God in the flesh. Even if it is just a name which glorifies God, so what. We see people in the Bible WORSHIPPING Jesus Himself. If that is not clear enough for you, then it is you that is in denial. The prophecy that I quoted from in Daniel says that this Son of man will be SERVED in an everalsting kingdom. So I guess you are agreeing that you will bow your knees to Jesus (whether you like it or not, you will bow your knees anyway). Also, you are just saying we are using mistranslated text. You don't even understand the whole situation; you are making haste of your talk. Scripture has already spoken: Romans 16:17-18- Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. You are making it so difficult "oneGOD." The gospel is simple and you Muslims decieve people with you "cunning" words. You think you're all smart because you can speak in a foreign tongue. Well God is no respector of persons my friend (James 2:9, 1Pe 1:17). |
