I have read that chapter and this is what I noticed:
The entire letter is spasifically addressing speaking in tounges and the proper way to do so (takeing turns so that someone can translate and it makes sence) toward the end of this chapter in verses 34-35 it says that women should keep quiet.
If you read all of Corinthians 14 you will see this. Verse 33 is in the middle of a thought and is cut off by these two verse that do not have anything to do this this letter at all and then in verse 36 picks right up where it left off. Further more in verse 39 this letter is summed up and in that summerization this very important part of women keeping silent is left out, like it was never said at all.
I believe that the Bible was tampered with and that this is a prime example of such tamperings.
Btw: This and any other part of the Bible should aways be read in context, anyone can take a verse from the Bible and bend it's meaning to serve their purpose, but if you read the entire context of a verse these half truths can be exposed.
