1 Corinthians 15:49 - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Colossians 3:2 - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Hebrews 11:13 - These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
There is no mystery to life or as to why we are here, life is a blessing from God, we are here to glorify God.
It is no mystery that the creator would want to hide himself from his creation but would want to share his glory with us in eternity.
2 Peter 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
If God is in your heart and if you have the Holy Spirit and are a child of God then there is no fear in death.
Philippians 1:21 - For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
But with God in your heart there is assurance and comfort and peace that the world cannot give you.
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
As children of God we can look forward to death and not fear it.
1 Corinthians 15:55 - O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
