Um, it clearly says he who is spiritual judges
ALL things. You can't get out of context with that my friend.
Things not people and as we judge that some
thing is contrary to Biblical truth we are mandated by Jesus to preach the way to salvation.
It does not say, he who is spiritual judges the things of the Church.
But, on the other hand Paul does!
If you are truly Born Again, are you not born of the spirit? Didn't Jesus say you cannot enter the kingdom unless you are born of the water and the spirit? One who is spiritual is Born Again, therefore he who is spiritual judges ALL things.
You are to judge your own life and actions not those of another. And you are talking about people who claim to be gay Christians, not those ignorant of the truth.
Those passages are not talking about only the Spirit of God judging. It is talking about us using the Spirit of God to judge. Judge not in a condemning matter, but judge in the light of scripture or the Spirit. Am I not to judge who I will or will not hang out with as a Christian? Am I to hang around carnal people? And you still did not answer MY question. Where on this site do you see anyone condemned by a Christian?
You have got to be kidding! Okay, there is the thread about killing homosexuals, that is judging and condemning.
When you "harp" on the sinfulness of homosexuality you are craming a persons sin down their throat. Jesus said "I have come to call sinner not the righteous." How did He call sinners? It was not by picking out one sin and harping about it from one end of the country to another.
How did He call sinners? "Ask of me and I will give you rivers of living water". Show me where Jesus singled out a particular sin and emphasized it. He didn't.
For all this preaching about judging, you sure do not know how to judge yourself. Don't give me the "harp" speech unless you have proof of me condemning a sinner. You do not have proof.
Really? How do you know homosexuality is a sin? The Bible, right? Who can understand the word of God clearly? Only those who are taught by the Spirit. So anytime you use specific sins found in Scripture you are judging.
If you thought I or any other Christian did anything wrong, the first thing you should have done is come to that person privately the same way I came to you when you told a guest not to post on this site if he can't spell properly when it was clear that his post could have been comprehended. Second of all, you are blaming your own brother openly for something without a witness. When you get another Christian witness to see that me or any other brother or sister "harp" on the sinfulness of homosexuality, then we can talk.
How many witnesses shall I invite to this board to back me up? I can get a dozen in about a day or so. How about the non-believers who have posted what they see as judgmentalism from Christians? Or do you not accept their witness only because they are not believers? Have you read the posts from 17 year old boy? But, I will accept you challange and email some ex-gay friends and other Christians who will tell you that until you preach the gospel you don't have the right or calling to label any human action a sin and harp on it to the unsaved.
Harping on the sinfulness of homosexuality is not saying it is a sin. If someone comes on this site and starts saying things the bible does not say about homosexuality(i.e- it is allowed, or, God said love thy neighbor, therefore that allows homosexuality), what am I to do as a Christian? Just let them get away with saying something the bible is clearly against? Then you have the audacity to bring up other sins like fornication and adultery when that clearly is not the topic. We are in a homosexuality discussion forum. Fornication and Adultery is right around the corner if you wanna post there.
Well then it is time to become a teacher and lovingly, gently show them the truth that "love" does not cover sexual immorality. Address their lack of Biblical understanding not harp on homosexuality being a sin. When some gay Christian says the "royal law" makes homosexuality okay, address the royal law to show them they are misguided and then they will see that the "royal law" is not a catch all to cover all sins. Until you address their misconceptions you will never show them the truth.
Homosexuality is a sin according to God’s inerrant word. We can “love our neighbor” but love does not mean accepting the unacceptable.
Aineo, you said this in the "Homosexuality is a Sin" forum. This is no different from what I am saying.
We have no disagreement on this statement. It is the way it is delivered we disagree about.
