So what is the gospel, and back it up with Scripture; not your opinion? We, as Christians, are commanded by Jesus to love our neighbor and preach the gospel.
In this day and age far to many Christian's seem to think that Paul's epistles and pastoral letters are to be used to "inform" sinners they are sinners and get specific with sin. Show me in Scripture without resorting to instructions given to the church, or better yet, the Body of Christ, where we are called to tell anyone they cannot live their lives without us constantly critizing them?
"Wipe the speck out of your eye" clearly means if I tell someone to stop doing some sort of sin, but I turn around and perform the same exact sin without conviction. It does not mean I cannot tell unsaved people that they are sinners just like I am. Otherwise how would they know? The fact that someone points out that homosexuality is a sin, then says they are sinners themselves along with everyone else is not hypocracy. If I point out someone elses sin and deny my sin, then your point is valid.
I don't know where you came up with this explanation, since it is not in the Bible.
