Quran and Bible debateTHIS IS NOT A QURAN AND BIBLE DEBATE !??If it was just my mere opinion you would have a valid complaint. But it is the teaching of Lord Jesus and his Spirit, of the Apostles and all the Prophets; your contrary notwithstanding. Pathetic desperation, Aineo. You're one step away from converting to Islam, or I should say reverting.(just to make sure Islam's silly one-upmanship receive due ridicule). Will you now charge true Christians with paganism; If so, save your breath and links. I played that game a long time ago; and I was much better at it than Figs. Horse feathers. How strange for a unitarian to dispute with Muslims, when you too deify text. When the blind offer to lead, I worry of what may become of me. The pure word of God can only be Creator, the Bible is the created and sanctified speech of God. Even Muslims are wise enough to distinguish between the uncreated and created speech (word) of God. Yes, the words of the Bible are pure when the Spirit fills them with meaning, but absolutely worthless when filled by men. Amen. Nonetheless, too funny and so sad. Seems the hodge-podge of unitarianism (Modalist, JW, Mohammadist, Arianist, etc) have more in common than they realize: In more ways than just introducing the above verse as evidence for case. Irony that you would quote the same verse I once used in dull-minded attempt to disprove Lord Jesus was God incarnate. Incredulous you hold John 17:3 (used in formulation of triune God) gives weight to unitarianism. Rather than being like Figs, who would have us believe his presumed background makes him knowledgeable, suppose you prove it. Tell me, what would be Trinitarian response, supporting evidence and why the verse was included in formulation of Trinity? Now, pronounce the following; la ilah illallah wa isa mesihi rasool allah. Maybe you can see how the unitarian interpretation of John 17:3 sounds oddly familiar to me. Your method of argument is much like that of Muslims. Should the above been asked of you, would you have dignified the question with an answer(?) I will say, it is impossible for God to lie, but not true of so-called biblical unitarians and Mohammed. Here's what gets me, Aineo: You're well aware of the odious names Jews call holy Mary and Lord Jesus, yet seemingly clueless on the truth they speak (albeit venomously) about Christ Jesus i.e. he indeed claimed Divinity. The Jews, particular the rabbis, hate Jesus for claiming to be The Messiah and God. They did not discover this information from the Gospel but came from thier traditions since the advent of Jesus. An event to which thier forefathers were eyewitness and heard with thier own ears. However, Jews are not blaming whomever you blame for saying (rightfully) Jesus is God. Correctly they identify the first person to have made the claim, Christ Jesus, himself. If you have nothing more to say, then this will be my last post on JCF servant of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ joseph |
