i could give a hoot about the council of nicea, look the bible!!!!
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 2 John 1:9
according to this verse, you do not have God! i am willing to bet that you are going to put your oneness spin on this passage and say that "oh, he has both the divine and human nature of God" you can twist, pervert, distort this passage all you want, but it clearly shows that the Father and the Son are 2 persons, and that if you believe that they are one person, you DON'T HAVE GOD! OOPS!!!!
looks like your going to be up for a rude awakening on judgment day!
btw, you only answered what you think you could, your post doesn't DISPROVE that God is not 3 persons. also you saying that you can answer all of those arguments is amusing, sure I believe you!
you've been injected with heresy, who cares what coucils or creeds says, i don't look to them, the bible clearly shows that the father and the son are NOT the same person, and we don't need to have creeds to prove this. i think its time to remove "your" oneness goggles, you've been blinded by an ancient heresy. how does ALONE prove that He is one person? remove your scales and read John 17:24 - John 17:24 - Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
here is what your heretical interpretation would read as:
John 17:24 - Me, I will that they also, whom I hast given myself, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which I hast given myself: for I lovedst myself before the foundation of the world.
also, how can the son have glory BEFORE the world was created, this would imply that the Son existed before he became HUMAN. according to you, the son implies the humanity of created person of Christ, how then could the son have glory with his father and even share love with his father before the world, i.e., BEFORE the incarnation???
your doctrine is so easily defeated when the scriptures (NOT CREEDS) CLEARLY show that the father and the son are not the same person. pretty much, a person can come up with any type of new doctrine if they have the ability to pervert, twist and wrench the scriptures like you have.
abstract natures don't share love, persons do!
do you think that Jesus' disciples who heard Jesus use the nouns "I" and "You" that Jesus was referring to Himself?
but of course you could put your oneness spin on it as you did with "superman", in other words, your ears are tickled, all of a sudden singular nouns do not apply to persons in this verse.
tata!
