Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesOneness debateNo NT writer refers to Jesus as God. Jesus is God to men in the same sense Moses was made as God to Pharaoh. Jesus is as God to men as God's human agent, which Paul makes clear when he wrote that the Man Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man. And how does Jesus save His people from their sins? Because He is God or because as Isaiah wrote the "zeal of Yehovah of hosts will accomplish this". We are saved by God's grace through faith in God's Messiah, Jesus the Christ not by God's grace through faith that Jesus is God. The Bible is clear that God is spirit, not flesh. The Bible is clear that Jesus was born of a woman, humbled Himself as God's bond-servant, that God highly exalted the man Jesus Christ to His right hand as Prince and Savior, and that salvation comes through faith in the name of, not the person of Jesus the Christ. Jesus is most definitely not Yehovah of the OT and all you have done is shown how easily one can interpret Scripture to follow cleverly concocted myths that have led many astray from God's pure truth. The Jesus oneness movement is an invention of the 20th century that depends on revelation knowledge that is not from God since as God spoke in the past through the prophets, today He speaks through His Son to whom God gave all authority and who God appointed His heir. This thread is now being moved to the appropriate forum since you have at last exposed that you adhere to a Christian cult that denies God’s truth. |
