How did your brother handle his childhood trauma in comparison to how you didd? Do you have identical personalities? There are many factors that need to be considered.
We didn't suffer childhood trauma. My statement was a satirical comment meant to point out the error in your argument. You say that a gay person, such as myself, could perceive our childhood free of trauma when the opposite has occured. The fact that my brother and I grew up together would only strongly indicate that whatever 'childhood trauma' I may have suffered, he would have as well regardless of how I perceived. Following your logic, he would have been gay too. As it turns out, he is not. Thus, I am an example that your argument is false.
