ArchivedMemory after death :: Re: Memory after deathHello Amethyst Star!
I'm not quite sure which verse you are referring to, but if someone finds it, I can assure you that it is not by chance. Your conscience is Eternal, therefore so is your memory. Worldly sorrow, pain and death are the results of a fallen race of human beings who are born into this world with a sin nature. In the Eternal State the sin nature is eradicated and thus the spiritual body leaves no trace of sin. However the devil and his demons can bring back to remembrance the sins of your past and attempt a form of self-accusation and inner guilt, having you believe that your sins were not forigven. Sometimes sins of the past are brought back to give you conviction at a time IF the same sin is repeated. Christ died for your sins and nailed them to the Cross, the scriptures declare: He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:19) Past sin will not come back to remembrance especially in an Eternal State where both the Father and the Son will be present in their fullest manifestations, accompany this by everlasting peace, joy and unity and the light of the Shekinah Glory of God will leave no room for past sins, but the former things have passed away. With a spiritual body comes a spiritual mind, that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. The life lived here on earth will determine the seed which will produce the outcome of the appearance of your spiritual body. God Bless! |
