I am dumbfounded by the hostile reaction which I have encountered on this forum. Once again: If this is how you treat Christians, how in the world do you treat those who do not share your faith?
Anyone who knows me personally, as opposed to being on an anonymous forum, would attest to my Christian faith and life. People in my home town would be shocked at the epithets which have been directed at me.
Is the Christian faith so insecure that it must hound those of us who enjoy using our God-given minds? I cannot believe that the Christian church is so anemic that it cannot tolerate some diversity of opinion. I believe in speaking my mind, as I have every right to do so as a follower of Jesus Christ and as a citizen of the United States of America.
You have won this round. I will no longer post anything controversial, and I will restrict myself to "safe" topics like ID and right-to-life. But I must say it again: I have never been treated as shabbily as I have been treated here on this forum. No one has ever questioned my personal integrity, not until now. This fact, I believe, is a sad commentary on this forum.
