Regardless as to whether or not television is a 'tool of satan' or whatever you want to label it as; most of it's contents are aweful anyway.
Newseed, when i did my Math and electronics GCSE (i did them two years earlier than the others because im amazing ) my mother decided to get rid of the TV and the internet for 6 months. It's surprising how easy it was. People have this idea in their heads that TV is necessary but it really isn't. Once we got it back after i had sat the exams i didn't really want to watch it. The moment i turned it on i was assaulted by meaningless garbage and total patronising rubbish that frankly insults my intellegence. I mean do they really think they can sell me tooth paste by paying some appauling actress with perfect teeth, hair complexion etc pop up onto the screen, grin a rediculouse ammount and state a list of made-up statistics?? "Our tooth paste makes your teeth approximately 72.5% whiter!!" How on earth did they measure that!? Watching TV just enfuriates me so i don't do it. However i wouldn't say that the programmes they show on TV are evil. I'd just call them, stupid, annoying and naff.
