Oh,.. another thought... I keep hearing that we should all have love for our fellow man and just accept one another and that means respecting another person's religion. Or that not doing so is downright unChristian of us..
Well, the Scriptures do indeed promote behaviour that exposes, rebukes and silences false teachers. We are exhorted to do this so others will not be deceived(Titus 1:10-16). God abhors deceitful men.(Psalm 5:6)
No one should respect a religion that shuts the kingdom of heaven in men's faces(Matthew 23:13-14).
It is not "love of our fellow man" to allow them to march proudly towards hell's gates without warning them. True love loves truth.
"Better is open rebuke than love that is concealed" -Proverbs 27:5
I suppose you would also call Jesus Christ himself "non-Christian" for His "verbal destruction" of the religious leaders of Israel (Matthew 23:13-36). It is better to be offended with the truth than perish living a lie.
