Christian/Muslim ThreadsThe Main Questions ArePeace Unite, Ultimately you judge the Bible based on what the Quran says. This is a fatal mistake, rather you should try to prove the Quran with the Bible, but the Bible just doesn't support what you believe. You don't understand what it means that God has a Son. Obviously if Jesus is God, God can't have a son! Jesus would be His own son! That is just silly. It's more of a title, the "Son of God" is the heavenly King that sits at the Almighty's Right hand and is one with God. The prophets have seen this and we believe what the prophets say, and what God tells us. Jesus tells us He is the Son, the King God placed in Zion as Psalm 2 says. Jesus tells us He is seated at Father's right hand. This further is verifed in Daniel's vision where the Son of Man is worshipped by the nations and peoples. Psalm 110:1 coincides with this vision where the Son of Man is called "Lord" by David. Believe as you wish, Unite, but I choose to accept and believe what is clearly evidence throughout scripture. The Lord is to be accepted not use human logic to sort out God, that is a big mistake that people make. God is United and in control of all things, that is what is important. So the Quran says Allah has no Son, but whomever authored the Quran shows extreme ignorance of the Christian faith. God is not ignorant, so the author of the Quran cannot be God. We are all sons and daughters of God, and He created us so He's our Father. God the Father calls Jesus "Son" because Jesus was God who came to earth in a form of a "son of God", a man. Jesus calls Himself "the Son of Man", He is saying He is God as a Son of Man. Nothing to so with wifes or kids or any of that. |
