Well, this is somewhat surreal. I didn't notice this when I joined... and probably wouldn't have, if I weren't wandering around the board, looking for any announcements I might have missed. I'm presently somewhat perplexed as to why the Homosexual Discussion forum is now telling me I don't have the "special access" that I apparently need, though I've been participating there for the past month or so. Sheesh, you'd think being member #100 would be special enough!
I suppose I may as well introduce myself, now that I'm here. My name actually is Morgan -- I always like finding online communities small enough that I can actually use it. I do computer animation and a bit of programming, and manage to make a living at it, by virtue of fairly minimal living expenses. I share an apartment with my best friend, who is a Christian. I'm an agnostic atheist, and occasional pantheist -- not to be confused with polytheist. I'm about a week shy of being 23. For my birthday, I'm planning to tell my parents that I'm gay, because... well, I have to. I really do.
And now I've got to cut this short, because otherwise I'll be late to dinner at my grandmother's... and since she's best cook ever, that would be awfully silly of me.
Edit: A typo fix and a note -- Aineo has replied to my PM, so my question concerning "specialness" (i.e., group membership) is all cleared up. I still think an announcement might be in order.
