While still reeling from the shock of seeing messages that support the molestation of children, I dusted off my medical encyclopedias and discovered the following information.
In 1962, Dr. C. Henry Kempe, chief pediatrician at the University of Colorado Medical Center, coined the term battered child syndrome. According to Kempe's definition, the victim is "any child who has received non-accidental injury or injuries as a result of acts or omissions on the part of his parents or guardians." Under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (Public Law 93-247), passed by Congress in 1974 and amended in 1978, child abuse and neglect are defined as:
the physical or mental injury, sexual abuse or exploitation, negligent treatment, or maltreatment of a child under the age of 18 by a person who is responsible for the child's welfare under circumstances which indicate that the child's health or welfare is harmed or threatened thereby.
Sexual abuse includes the following: intercourse, incest, rape, sodomy or impairing of the minor's morals.

In the 1990's, estimates of the number of sexual assaults on children in the US ranged as high as 5 million annually. As many as 80% of these assaults occurred within families. In many cases, the adults resided outside the family but were closely acquainted with their victims.
While tens of thousands of children and young peopel are sexually attacked or molested, thousands of others are filmed, photographed, or otherwise exploited for the private recreational purposes of their abusers. An estimated 50,000 children disappear annually, most of whom are never found. Experts say most of these children are forced into sex slavery, becoming victims of the child porn trade. Abuse includes: rape, inappropriate touching, exhibitionism, sex, sodomy, etc.
Males and females, ages ranging from a few months to 16 years or older, are in danger. The mean age at which a child experiences sexual abuse is 9. Victims represent all classes, races, and regions.
If you think you're not harming the child you're having sex with, take a good, hard look at the things the child has to go through when you're not around to abuse him/her. This information is from "Child Protection Alert," which is a publication of the Americal Christian Voice Foundation.
1 - The child has an explicit and/or bizarre knowledge about sex.
2 - The child exhibits precocious sexually related experimentation or speech.
3 - The child's toilet training relapses.
4 - There is often smearing of feces and urine.
5 - The child gags or vomits for unexplained reasons.
6 - The child experiences speech problems.
7 - The child's behavior is repressed.
8 - The child often masturbates.
9 - The child withdraws from normal human contact. Which means that his parents can't even give him a normal hug or a pat on the back.
10 - The child experiences stomach and head pains.
11 - The child often wets the bed.
12 - The child becomes suicidal and/or self-destructive.
13 - The child loses his/her appetite.
14 - Did you know that when you're having sex with the child, he/she is severely bruised in their private areas? While you're seeking sexual satisfaction, you're not giving a damn that you're causing serious physical injury to the child.
15 - The child's underwear is spotted with blood because of the damage you've caused.
16 - The child is extremely fearful of certain people and/or locations. You're turning the child into a person who's afraid to go outside!
17 - The child experiences abrupt or radical behavioral changes.
18 - The child loses his self-esteem. You must be sooo proud of yourself.
19 - The child becomes an alcoholic or drug abuser. Kudos to you! You've ruined the kid's life!
20 - The child is afflicted with ulcers, anorexia or other stress-related disorders. You must be so proud of yourself.
21 - The child experiences frequent nightmares.
22 - The child is afflicted with vaginal or urinary tract infections, as well as infections of the mouth, gums and throat.
23 - The child's moral values are severely altered or made non-existent.
Here are some safety tips for parents who want to keep their children safe from sexual predators.
1 - Know your child's friends.
2 - Never leave your child unsupervised.
3 - Be involved in your child's activities.
4 - LISTEN when your child tells you they don't want to be with someone. They're trying to tell you something and, instead of brushing them off, you may want to pay attention to what they're trying to say.
5 - Pay attention when someone shows an abnormal interest in your child.
6 - Have your child fingerprinted and know where to locate dental records.
7 - Be sensitive to changes in your child's behavior.
8 - Take a picture of your child. You should take pictures four times a year if your child is under 2 years old.
9 - Be prepared to describe your children accurately.
10 - Create a procedure should you and your child become separated.
11 - Don't buy items that display your child's name.
12 - Be sure your child's school or day-care center won't release your child to anyone other than you or someone you've designated.
13 - Tell the school to contact you immediately if your child is missing or if someone other than you picks up the child without advance notice from you.
As for you, Sam (the man who posted in the Child Molestering is a Sin, BTW Child Molesters = Homosexuality = Adultry = Bestiality! thread), you are a sick person who needs help. I don't care if the boys you're sleeping with have sex with you willingly. What you are doing is sick and perverted, not to mention against the law. I know that what I'm saying is not very Christianly of me, but I hope you are thrown into jail for a very long time. And when you get out, if you so much as come near my children or any other child that lives in my town, and if you intend to take away their innocence, I will personally see to it that you are given a free sex change operation. Severe, I know. But take a look at what you're doing to those boys and tell me that you deserve better.
And to anybody who, despite reading the information I've provided, still believes that molesting a child is okay...Take a look at what happened to Brandon Nesler.
