Part of that message is we are not under the Law, which includes all the ordinances recorded from Exodus 25 forward. The ordinances are the Law and unless one keeps all the ordinances they are not keeping the whole law. Abraham is one of Paul's examples of those who obtained the righteousness by faith. Have you studied the life of Abraham? He violated many ordinances of the Law, not the least of which is he married his half-sister and lied. Also what Paul taught concerning faith is straight out of the OT. Habakkuk 2:4 4 "Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. NKJV This is one of only a few OT Scriptures that deal with faith, which is a NT concept. The Pharisees were proud of the fact they kept the letter of the Law, but Jesus lived the spirit of the Law. mdibbets, tutors teach the basics of any profession or occupation they do not teach everything one needs to grow in their profession or occupation.
