Legalists search the Scriptures to show that we are required to keep the Torah. However, what they miss is the fact that the Torah is the "law of sin and death".
Romans 7:13
Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.
NKJV
Romans 8:2-4
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
NKJV
What is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus? The Law was given to the sons of Israel, but those in Christ are Abraham's seed. Keeping the Law does not qualify anyone to become Abraham's seed since we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
1 st John 4:20-21
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
NKJV
Jesus gave us two, and only two commandments:
"Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One" and "Love your neighbor as yourself".
Paul grasped this and wrote:
Galatians 5:14-15
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
NKJV
