If you are unsure of the existence of an energy Source in the universe, just walk outside and take a look up. See all those little twinkling things over your head? All the light and heat coming from them is going somewhere. Energy is neither created nor destroyed, only transferred. The light and heat from those stars is transferred somewhere. Further, the amount of energy in a closed system (like the universe) is constant. The view of an Energy Intelligence as a religion works very neatly with science.
A simple examination of how the universe works will reveal that the concept of Energy Intelligence is not nearly as far-fetched as the idea of some god-man being hung and resurrected.
Hmmm.........then there is the argument of where did the energy come from? Did it hapen by chance? Ofcourse we know that chance is not a force or a being so it can't create anything. If you were to also use the argument of the Universe being eternal, you don't have to be a believer to realize the contrary has more evidence to support it. Unbelieving scientist's would even tell you the Universe is not eternal. Hence, believing in an eternal/invisible God is not far-fetched at all.
Yes. Energy is owned and controlled by the Energetic (aka: God). Although, arguments of linear time, regarding energy, are faulty. The first law of thermodynamics states that energy is neither created nor destroyed. This also must be the logical conclusion from a religious point of view. God is defined as being the eternal proprietor of all energy or potency. Therefore the energy that makes up this universe is also eternal with God. It may not be eternally manifest, but the energy exists nonetheless. If we say that the energy of this universe is itself created, then we are admitting that God, at some point in time, lacked a certain amount of energy and therefore could not rightfully hold the title "God". Since we cannot logically accept this, God must be seen as the reservoir of energy. This is similar to the relationship between the sun globe and the sunshine.
