So you are a racist atheist? We should respect the rights of a minority, but the reverse is also true.
My bad, I ment to write shouldn't, I wrote that right when I woke up. Let me re-phrase, just because there is a minority, they should have the same right as the majority. And I'm not an atheist.
a student taking a biology class who wants to write a paper challenging evolution can be and usually is given a failing mark, or forced to write a paper in support of evolution thereby rejecting one of the icons of true science, which is always questioning accepted theory.
Student who writes a paper challenging evolution, can get a passing grade if the student understands what they are challenging. A student who write a paper saying "evolution is bad because needs to be a designer". Obviously doesn't clearly know what they challenging. I agree one should always challenge what they are told.
Evolutionary theory follows the scientific method but as I pointed out those who teach and support evolutionary theory do not since they teach macroevolution as fact when it in fact it still is and always will be a theory.
If a teacher is teaching macrolution as a fact then that teacher is wrong.
Your problem is you want to segregate scientific knowledge into neat little packets so you can ignore the sum total of all scientific knowledge to promote a theory that can be defeated by another scientific discipline.
No, I simply like
evidence. ID has no evidence.
As an atheist you have faith in science and before you deny this lets look at what faith is.
Agian with the calling me an atheist, eh? I do not have faith in science, I look at the evidence and draw my conclusions from there. If I went on faith, I could say that a big peice of Spagettii is controling my life, and it's that way because I believe it is, even though there are plenty of evidence that says the contrary.
Fossil evidence is evidence that extinct animals once lived on this earth, but fossil evidence can be interpreted based on the bias and socio-political agenda of the person citing the evidence.
