I feel like we are being led into the world and its ways by following "science" and its methodology, and calling what the scripture plainly says "creationism" or "inteligent design".
By seperating them from the scriptures, we are in effect divorcing them from Gods word. One of satans tactics is to cast doubt on the word, by our placing these concepts as "scientific" they are in essence seperated from scriptures.
I personally no longer believe in ANY form of so called evolution, or "big bang" As they are against what the scripture plainly says, either the scripture is true or it isn't period. It is like the endless genealogies debate paul warned us of.
I am for people defending the truth, of the Bible, But the need to lable these concepts in an attempt to "legitimize" or "camoflage" them for the scientific community is both not founded in scripture, as well as just as ingenuous, as the atheist stating that their so called evolutionary theories are any less a religion than what we know to be the truth.
I don't think that creationism and ID should be taught along side evolution, I think the bible should be, but I realize that is not going to hapen in this fallen nation. I do think that evolution should be tempered with the fact that it is theory based on their interpretation of scattered and mis interpreted "evidence".
As the case of using so called fossil evidence, which has no connections whatsoever, plus is not reliable in the sense that, unless the model of fossil formation is thoroughly reworked into something I am not even sure has been thought about the various "strata" are not scientifically even feasable unless all models are in fact wrong in the first place.
as for so called "genetic " evidence, such as fruit flies and animal breeds the key word in it self is breeding, which is not evolution, but the manipulation of genes to propagate traits.
It is one thing to discuss their own beliefs and counter them with questions, and facts, but to come up with yet another so called "theory" is just resorting to their own decidedly atheistic tactics, And I for one don't see any scriptural basis, or encouragement for it.
