Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinesWhat does it mean to be born again?I see that you did not read anything I wrote. I have been to other Protestant forums and they welcomed me with open arms. They are true Christians over there. They wanted to know and they were curious because they realized that what they knew was only assumptions as to what the Catholic church teaches. So they would ask me questions and they would THINK before they posted anything. Some even had their eyes opened after some of the stuff that I posted over there. Some others did not agree with me but not because I did not present them with biblical evidence but just because they were too prideful; hhmmm just like someone here is. When I pray to a saint or to Mary, I am not consulting them to tell me what lies in my future. I am just asking them to pray for me. The prayers of the righteous are powerful as it says in scripture. The ones who have passed on to eternal life are indeed righteous. God says that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and that they are not dead because He is the God of the living and not of the dead. As far as the verse that you quoted from Leviticus, that was for when one brought their peace offerings and they had to eat of the lamb but not those parts of it; and they were specific as to what they had to do with what parts of the fat and so on. But that really has nothing to do with what I posted. It is obvious that you did not read what I wrote in my other post. I quoted from John chapter 6; one of my favorite books and chapters. In the other post I have more verses, but this proves my point. As far as Marion doctrines, Jesus LIVED the doctrine! He was bore in her womb for 9 months. She is the Ark of the New Covenant. He honored her as it is the law written to honor your mother and father. And Jesus honored his mother and His Heavenly father and also his earthly foster father. So if you want to follow the example of Jesus, then you better start thinking of honoring Mary. Jesus loves Mary very much. She is His mother. Don't you love your mother? I don't know you and maybe you had some fall-out with your mother or father or someone in the Catholic church because you seem very bitter. Oh and as far as Mary being the mother of God, that is more about Jesus being God then it is about Mary. We Catholics do not say that Mary is the mother of God the Father but the mother of God the son. Don't you believe in the Trinity? And don't you believe that Jesus is God? I rest my case on this one. Statues... Do you really think I pray to statues?! HA! The statues are there as a reminder for me. I posted that already but you always ignore what I write. Just because I would pray in front of a crucifix does not mean that I am praying TO the Crucifix itself. I am merely there in front of that statue but actually praying to Jesus. I posted on how God commanded Moses to carve two angels of gold and put them on top of the ark of the covenant. I also mentioned the snake on the cross. Am I wasting my time here? I think I am. And there is nothing Pagan about the Catholic church. We are the New Israel. Catholism is Judaism fulfilled. Ask any Jewish person who has converted to Catholism. Why don't you actually do some research on Catholism straight from the source instead of listening to Protestant ministers who don't know what the Catholic church teaches. No matter what I say and no matter what kind of biblical evidence I present to you that is solid proof of what I say, you will still say that I am wrong. This is not a nice place to be. You call yourselves Christian? I would think twice on that if I were you. But I mainly speak about Aineo here. It seems to me that if anyone joins here, they don't stay for long because they see how you are Aineo. I will leave it at that. I don't want to get started on here as this is a near occasion of sin for me. So I leave here in peace and I will pray for all of you here and most especially for Aineo. By the Grace of God, I leave here in peace... I will pray for you... goodbye. |
